Edlerly Dog not eating for almost 2 days

i am seeking help & advice for what to do to make my 14.5 yr-old dog eat: he has Degenerative Myelopathy & is not wanting to eat all day today & part of yesterday. He will drink water, but is not even eating slices of turkey or chicken, which he loves! any advice on what to feed him? is there such a thing similar to Ensure for dogs that they will eat??

There is also a canned food that is supposed to be highly palatable and extra nutritious. It is called Science Diet a/d.

I am not sure whether either one is appropriate for your dog's situation, it might be best to phone the vet and ask. There are so many things that could cause a dog to go off his feed, even something as simple as a toothache.
