Blind and deaf pets can live happy, healthy, quality lives. In fact, sometimes it's hard to tell them from sighted pets. They do, though, have their own special needs.

I HIGHLY recommend http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002IW ... r_thx_view anyway, but on the second DVD Ann, one of the trainers, is shown teaching a newly blind puppy "safety skills" after the baby survives nearly dying with salmonella poisoning.
