Pet Food or Litter Storage Tin

Postby Sasha's Mom » Fri Sep 14, 2012 6:40 am

Have been looking for a good size tin to store cat litter in, but the new "designer" tins at $50+/- are a bit much for my humble budget.
Finally found a 6 gallon tin (holds about 40 lbs.) by Behrens.
Sells online at Lowes for $16 + shipping and handling:

Until IAMS or another pet food company has the free promotional ones, this will certainly do the trick. :)

A list of storage container sizes and how much they hold according to what is put inside:

Looks very nice. :D We're using a painter's bucket with a fancy lid. We've had it forever. It holds a 10-lb bag of dog kibble. The bucket was a couple of dollars. I spent extra for the lid ($7 or something) but it was worth it, it's a good seal and easy to put on and take off.
