Stitches removed from 6 inch incision and Mysti was quite good-- not much wiggling. Breast areas were palpated -- 1 area under left arm /leg and probable cancer at 2,3, and 5 on right side. Probably can't do both sides at the same time so all lumps on right side will be removed (taking a good/ safe margin) in early Oct. -- earlier if a cancellation come up in the OR schedule. In the mean time we will try to build her up with Fresh Factor, Joint Health and Canine vitamin. She is getting dry food for Senior dogs flavored with chicken packets for Senior dogs and she has gained back some of the weight she lost with the softball sized 2 pound spleen tumor they removed from her 10 days ago. Any suggestions on improving her immune system (since she has no spleen to clean out waste from her blood) by adding goodies to her diet would be appreciated. Will keep you posted if things change.
