Arthritic Cat on Hardwood FloorsMy cat, Sebastian, is an eighteen year old arthritic and diabetic. We recently moved to NYC and our floors are hardwood. We do have area rugs around the apartment, but there is a lot of floor space between rugs. The poor cat can't get the traction needed to move around without taking a tumble. So he moves around very tentatively. Does anyone have suggestions? I'm thinking of getting him little booties that I've seen on dogs- but I think he'd hate it. I feel so bad for him and wonder if anyone can share their wisdom. It would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely, eartone
