Bulging disc and acupuncture experiences? HELP!

Hi ya'll, so my schnoodle might have a bulging disc that is causing weakness on the right side of his body. He's actually improved a lot in the past week on meds and crate rest (even standing up), still the vet at the ER wants to do tests on Monday and maybe even surgery. I've read several things about what veterinary acupuncture can and can't do, BUT has anyone had real life experience with it? Im trying to read back through all the posts but I dont think I'll be able to even make a dent in it before our appointment on Monday.
