Dog SeatbeltsIn the new magazine there's an article about why dogs should wear seatbelts. I wholeheartedly agree but I have a backseat hammock which completely covers the seatbelt clasps. Does anyone have an idea of how to combine the two?
Re: Dog SeatbeltsThese pictures may not be clear, I'm wondering if you could fasten the seat belt to the head rest instead of the seatbelt clasp? (I see what you mean! Never thought about it.)
Re: Dog SeatbeltsThanks for that. I was thinking perhaps attaching to another belt strapped (securely) from each of the hand grips above the windows. She could move from one window to the other but not forward or backward.
Re: Dog SeatbeltsHi,
I'm not sure that the headrest is a safe place to secure the leash, but maybe the anchor above the headrest, if you have one in your car. If your car was in an accident, the head rest could pop out with impact. The anchor is usually used for a child's car seat.
