Meet Sassy!

Sassy is a remarkable 3 year old whose journey has touched many hearts. Once facing a dire situation at a high-kill shelter, she was rescued just in time, and now she’s ready for a fresh start with a loving family. Despite her back legs being paralyzed, Sassy’s spirit remains unbroken, and she gets around with impressive determination and grace.

Her SUPER sweet nature has quickly won over the hearts of all our volunteers. When Sassy gets excited, she does the most adorable tippy taps, like a little tap dancer spreading joy wherever she goes!

Sassy is wonderful with other dogs and would make a gentle and loving companion for children. She’s calm and affectionate, always ready to snuggle up in a warm lap and share her love.
