sad day here :(

we have had a very preggers cat here named Pesto.
she had setteld in her nest box and mom figured she was getting ready to have her kittens.
at 4 am mom checked on her again and she had blood all over her hind end. mom called the rescue person who set up with their vet first thing this am. Mom rushed her over. There was a little dead kitten face peeking out and some pus

Sadly Pesto did not make it. She did ok wth the surgery at first but coudl not wake up all the way. The vet said that she had gone septic.

we feel veryveryvery sad for this poor girl and the little kittens.

at least our bottle babies are doing well, they liked their first taste of canned fud today.

I am So sorry that is so very sad.
Incent animals steal our hearts.
I had a pomm that gave birth to two 2 pups the one that did not make it was a blue it was a bad feeling. I had to work while she gave birth ,an still wonder if I had been there would the pup have made it?
You did all you could take care of yourself.

As tragic as what happened is, Pesto did not die some unknown death on the streets. She had a home filled with love, and vet care at the very end.

The whole gang at Bendy's house always goes above and beyond for little furries.
