Boo's hip was so bad I was afraid it was the end. I found this in Internet searching: I use Synflex glucosamine and bought powdered Ester-C 2400 mg. Read about ester-c as miracle cure for hip dysplacia. I mix Synflex and powdered ester-c and mix with food. Start ester-c slowly - can cause diarhea. At least 2000 mg was stated as therapeutic. Boo was so lame it took one month to see big difference. Today he walked all around our condo complex with only two stops. I cried with joy on the way home. I noticed a difference last Friday but held my breath afraid of disappontment. I still have to assist him up but he takes it from there.
Look up Synflex on internet and powdered Ester-c on MyVitanet.com. Type in ester-c miracle for hip dysplacia to read about this treatment. Vets aren't willing to work with you for alternative treatments. Mine kept saying there is no scientific proof. I have proof now with my baby dog Boo. Boo will be 11 in June. I hope to have him many more years.
