cat with Cerebellar Hypoplasia needs new home

Postby emmygrrl » Wed Mar 21, 2012 10:51 am

I have a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia, and am moving to an apartment that does not allow cats. I do not want to send her to a shelter, as they will almost certainly kill her. Spaz is a 2 1/2 year old female with gray stripes. She is great with kids, and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She is very loving, and doesn't need too many special adaptations, and needs no medication. We are located near Winchester, VA.

Hello and WELCOME! Could you post a picture or two, maybe a video of Emmy? Pictures make all the difference. Also, do you have a Facebook page - it is a great rescue resource. Once you have a picture to go with your story, you might also state whether she has been spayed, if her vacs are current. Some of our members belong to Special Needs Rescue Cats Yahoo Group and we could crosspost to them. You might also check for the CH cat group, join and post there.

Has she been spayed? How long do you have to place her?

She has not been fixed, as we only have the one cat, and she doesn't go outside. We have to find a home for her before April 19th

Has this cat been adopted yet?
Please let me know, I would be interested in taking her if she still needs a furever home.
Thanks,
Dawn

I emailed the owner last night and received an answer that she had found a home for Emmy. Dawn, if you are looking for an HP kitty, we can help you find one who needs a home. Where are you located?
