Meet Citri
Citri is a 5 year old fun-loving, sweet girl who is looking for her happily ever after. She loves to roam the yard, taking in all of the smells. Her favorite toys are her giggle ball and her stuffed caterpillar. She is a brainiac and loves doing her doggy puzzles which she has mastered with ease. She loves food, so finding her treats hidden in the puzzle is the ultimate prize for her. Once she has gotten her exercise in, she will settle in for a good nap or will come up to you for pets. She loves the top of her head scratched and will often melt resting her head on my lap.

Citri looks like a typical rottweiler, beautiful and strong, but she was born blind. This is all that she has ever known and watching her navigate her world is a beautiful thing. You see her using her legs to feel around if she is in an unfamiliar environment but learns her new physical environment quickly.

Citri has a few requests for her new home. She would love a home without kids. Kids can be unpredictable and due to Citri’s blindness, she needs that predictability of every day life. She also would like to be your one and only pet in the home. She wants to make sure that she can give you all of her love. Her new family will need to allow her time to truly build trust with them and be one who is blind dog experienced.

Citri cannot be rushed to accept her new humans. She will need time to process the change in her family members in her own time. Giving her that courtesy will reap the pleasure of a loving, loyal, companion.

Please submit the application on our website at www.kodisclub.org/applications if you’d like to be considered for this charming girl!
