Re: Fleas
The fact that the treatments are only lasting one month suggests that eggs are hiding between fibers in the dogs beds/carpets/sofas. Have you tried getting a a exterminator in? We once had the same issue in our old house. Or cat was being treated almost weekly for heavy fleas and we didn't know why ...

Re: Please help! Cat in pain. :/
How very similar your cat's symptoms are to my own cat. We noticed something was wrong with my cat 5 days ago. She was hiding away (at floor level), wouldn't jump up anywhere, pain around base of tail and not moving her tail. She WAS urinating and pooping OK though. We took her to vets yesterday an...

Re: Bizarre sibling rivalry...
Beautiful cats  I was just wondering if they're outdoor cats? My thinking is that maybe because they're not fixed there could be a male in the area and that might explain the scent. It could also explain the fighting. People normally think of males being territorial, however females can be to...

Re: What's wrong with my cat?!
OK so I took her to the vet this morning and they haven't got a clue what's wrong with her. They think she hasn't broken anything and gave her a antibiotic injection just in case she's got a absess coming and some anti inflam pain killer liquid. They said if there's no improvement by Monday to bring...

Re: Clues to the mystery of feline idiopathic cystitis
My cat had this.Sh was urinating blood and crying in the litter tray. Vet gave her antibiotics and said it would be a recurring issue though so far it's not returned (fingers crossed). We think a helicopter of all things set it off. She thought it was a giant bird!

Re: What's wrong with my cat?!
Well (typically) she JUST popped and she's come out from under the bed now so I put her basket in the living room and she's chilling out. However she's clearly in pain. Although atm she has her hind leg in the air, grooming herself! I feel so helpless. All I can do is wait til the morning. Thx for ...

What's wrong with my cat?!
Hello. My cat is 2 and a half. 2 days ago we noticed she was not herself and she was in pain around her tail. She doesn't move her tail and if you pick her up she cries. The tail simply drops to the floor if lifted. She is eating fine but she still hasn't pooped once (which I am extremely concerned...
