I've tried the honey sage Nature's Miracle, but I wasn't impressed with the scent. Maybe the other scent is better.
I think I'll try the waterless shampoo. Thank you for the information.

Re: How to get urine smell out of fur in between baths
Wet wipes, even pet ones aren't wet enough to help at all. I have an Aquapaw for bath time. It really makes for quick baths, bit it's not much help on the go. What I ended up doing was getting a cloth wet and wiping him down when I had a break in errands. I just wish I had something I could spray on...

How to get urine smell out of fur in between baths
I was leaving this morning and realized the Frankie had peed himself. I didn't have time to bathe him so I put on some waterless shampoo. That didn't touch the urine smell. Any ideas about what I could use? Of course, he'll get a bath tonight, once we get home.

Odor Reducing Shampoo
I've searched posts and it seems people are reluctant to use any shampoos at all. While my Frankie has been peeing outside since March 2018, he sometimes gets it on his legs. I bathe him about every 1-2 weeks. Can anyone recommend a shampoo? I don't know if I even need an odor eliminating shampoo, b...

Baby powder?
Our vet and our groomer recommended using talcum powder on Frankie because he has a bit of redness where his belly band is. I searched the forum and saw some people do this. I still don't know if it's a good idea though. Baby powder has gotten such a bad wrap as of late. Any thoughts would be welcom...

Re: Washable Alternative to Poise Pads
Marni used to use cloth diapers with her doxie, Simon. She folded them and put them in a malewrap. Here are a couple of her posts describing it. http://handicappedpet.net/helppets/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5255&p=28771&hilit=cotton+baby+diapers#p28771 http://handicappedpet.net/helppets/viewt...

Re: Washable Alternative to Poise Pads
Hmm. Interesting idea!! You'd think there'd be something available somewhere now that so many people are thinking "green." My grandma used to tell how they'd make their own period pads out of fabric scraps before the commercial ones came into being. I have my own reusable pads that I boug...

Re: Help w/poo in the bed
When it happens he goes to the bottom of the bed. My husband has this phobia of waking up covered in poo, which is ridiculous, got to love him though.critters wrote:Is he mobile enough that putting a pee pad in the bed wouldn't work?

Re: Help w/poo in the bed
Yeah, it sounds like you're just going to have to get him diapers with a cord lock tail. Here is an example from Sam's Dog Hut, but there are other brands out there. I know the Sam's ones are good, I got some for a dog who used to mess in the underwater treadmill sometimes. https://www.samsdoghut.c...

Help w/poo in the bed
Frankie is back to feeling better. He's on special food for his allergies and his poo is back on its regular schedule for the most part. I am still looking for a solution to poo in the bed though - Occasionally, if he gets over excited/scared he will poop. I have tried expelling before bed, diapers,...

Washable Alternative to Poise Pads
Frankie uses two and sometime three Poise pads a day. I'd like to switch to something washable, but I'm not sure where to start. Is there anything that will be half as good as a Poise overnight pad?

Re: Just a sensitive stomach?
I have an awesome vet. He thought there was something going on. He suggested that we run allergy tests. Turns out Frankie is allergic to duck, eggs, oats, rice, lamb, peas, and barley. His food had four of those in its ingredients. He's now on Hill's Prescription Diet z/d with venison and seems to b...
