I'm not sure I've heard of a "stroller wagon" before, but they have several on Amazon. I think this one is the Evenflo Pivot, which holds 55 lbs. It's over $300 but it would be perfect for dogs that are too big for a regular stroller.
Handicapped Pets Foundation 501c3 is looking for a new member of the board of directors.

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
OK, thanks for that. It makes it more likely that's what's going on. :thankyou: Then the next question, which I don't think there's any way to know, is whether this is coming from improvement in the nerves, or from an injury or misalignment acquired during frequent falls walking. He doesn't seem to ...

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
Do you know, would it appear as itching that sort of "strikes" periodically? Out of nowhere when he's not doing anything, just lying there? Like, "Yikes, all of a sudden this is driving me nuts (furiously scratching)!" Then he can be fine for a long time, hours even, then "Y...

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
1) There was a radio talk show program about pets during hot weather. I called in and the spokeswoman for ACS said I can take Pip to a cooling center if needed. The procedure will be that the cooling center will call ACS, which will bring a crate for him and place it where someone won't be allergic ...

Yes, you are! Maybe it would help if your husband brought you coffee in bed every morning.

Re: Dolly
Does it help to sit up on the side of the bed for a minute first? I kept a walker by the bed for a while after I hurt my back. It might be an option just for standing up that first 60 seconds till you get your sea legs. I had the kind without wheels.

Re: Dolly
Something happened with Dolly on Saturday morning. She was in her crate and I heard her crying. Went in and found her lying on her side craning her neck about an inch up off the blanket. She was crying in pain but I couldn't tell what it was. She's had neck problems before but in all previous cases ...

Re: Lost traction
:confetti: Boots with traction are one option. Show Foot spray was developed to spray on the feet of show dogs so they wouldn't slip on the floor of the show ring. https://biogroom.com/dog-products/finishers/show-foot/ Dr. Buzby's Toe Grips were recommended by my dog's physical therapist. Here is a ...

Re: Water therapy
I was watching that video of Koro again and it's wonderful, but it wouldn't be appropriate if your dog's still on crate rest. The usual advice is to wait till after crate rest is complete. They only recommend passive range of motion during crate rest. They will sometimes put post-surgical dogs in th...

Re: Water therapy
Did you check whether there are any equine hospitals? That's where Murphy's dad took Murphy. https://handicappedpet.net/helppets/viewtopic.php?p=2934#p2934 A backyard above ground pool (like Intex) could be an option if you have a yard. It wouldn't have to be super tall. Do you have a friend with a ...

Re: Pip diagnosis - Central cord syndrome
Did I ever explain how he's scared of water? It makes sense. If your front legs can't be depended on to get your head up out of it, it isn't safe. When I give him a bath I use the 2-sided sink and in one side I put maybe 2.5 inches of water and he leans his head against the side to keep his head up....

P.S. I just realized I called Colonel 'Captain' in several posts, even after you repeated his correct name, 'Colonel'. I'm sorry I demoted the big guy! Don't I feel dumb!
