Re: Newbie

If he leaks pee, you might consider diapers (with male dogs they wrap around the belly and are called male wraps).

Re: Cat Tail Pull Injury & Urination

I expressed Buddy on his back, too. We've used gabapentin several times for nerve pain, with good results.

Re: Cat Tail Pull Injury & Urination

Perhaps a med would make him more able to pee by himself? I'd consider a trial to see what happens. Meds can help OR hinder.

:whale: Recovery can go on for months. Do you know about meds for pooping and peeing?

Great idea! I've washed faces that way.

Apparently they don't belong to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought.

The movie Gifted is not only a good movie, but the feline costar has only 1 eye. https://www.amazon.com/Gifted-Chris-Eva ... 130&sr=8-1

Re: Duck with degenerative joint disease

Splints can help with nerve damage, contractures, etc. Ideally, try to splint before the contracture becomes permanent, because the splint can help hold the limb in the position of function. I can't say that I've ever splinted a duck, though. :D

I'd bet the catalog is just more expensive than Ammy. Glad all the furs are doing reasonably well, y'all!

Funny that WW is in Colonial Beach. I hadn't heard of any handicappers down that way.

Re: Please help new to this Skipper my dog is lame both back legs

Yeah, some butt wipes can be icky, but not all of them are. I use a fair number of them, and the current ones are by some company named Honest or something like it. I don't notice any stickiness with them. They were a review item, but I'd consider buying them.
