Re: game

I got to the red ball by swinging and clicking like a maniac. Kinda fun though.

Re: Broken leg

Beth, please get a different vet right away. My vet was much like yours and look what happened to Jack. If they don't care then who will?

Re: Goodbye Jack

I forgot to say that Monday was my birthday, my gift was Jack going to the bridge to be with his friend Kodi. I miss all the wobbly kisses tthat didn't quite hit the spot intended. I would like to honor him in some way. I was giong to write a book about his adventures for children to learn about han...

Re: How to go on.....

I am right there with you. Can't breathe, can't function. I found Jack exactly the same. But I know he loved me and he is now able to run and play. He always watched the other dogs with such longing. Try to look foreward to the time you will meet again, and get all those saved up kisses. You don't h...

Goodbye Jack

I wanted to let you all know that my CH/Epileptic pup Jack passed today. I was gone from home for 2 hours, gave him a drink and told him to be good. When i got home he didn't get excited and I knew something was up. It looks like he may have had a seizure but wont know for sure till tue. I want to t...

Heat and Epilepsy

Does anyone know if really hot weather has an effect on seizure activity. My CH dog Jack has been having bouts of dry heaves. The vet says these are baby seizures, give him a half dose of phenobarb and a little ice cream.(just a small spoonful) This always works but I was wondering if a cooling bed ...

Re: Never have read this, but it's worth a thought

Everyone has to make the decision that's right for them. I will carry guilt as long as I live. We just moved to a home with a 1 acre fenced yard and my first thought was, Kodi would love it here.. Kodi loved the vet too, he was there so often and he knew they made him feel better. When he realised t...

Re: Never have read this, but it's worth a thought

Karen, Possum is not happy and you and your whole family live in fear. Constant fear will shorten everyones lives. Do you think she is suffering? I know this is not even close to what you are dealing with, but I made the best choice for my Kodi even though my heart was screaming "MURDERER"...

Re: Blind Mom and son in shelter 2 years

have you tried the rolling dog ranch in montana? They have lots of blind dogs and may help these two. If so, it would be heaven on earth for the dogs. Good luck, I would love to have them but am limited by breed ban.

I think ccd is for older dogs. But I forgot to say also that when he is touched on his back or sides, his skin twitches. Not if he is stroked as a pet but just touched like with one finger. Strange. Maybe compulsive. I'll let you know. He also dislikes rough housing unless he is doing it, and growls...
