Crate Rest for IVDD

It is most important to confine and restrict the amount of movement a dog can do when it is 'down in the back' or has problems with it's neck. CRATE REST - CRATE REST - CRATE REST This is the most important thing you can do for your dog while it is recovering from this terrible disease. Our recommen...

If it is a link, go to wherever it is, highlight the link, do a Control c (ctrl c), come back over here, go in to your post and edit it, and hit a Control v (ctrl v) and it should paste it in for you.
Give it a try at least.

Re: Personality change in small dog with head injury

It sounds like Hobo is doing a good job of recovery. It may take even longer for him to feel better. If the grandkids are old enough, I would encourage them to let him be. Hobo obviously needs to be left alone at times and if they are approaching him from the side where he does not hear or see it mi...

Re: Hi I am new here

Hi Kelli, Nice to read some of your info on the epi information. We had a cocker spaniel (as a kid, MANY years ago) that had seizures. My mom was a registered nurse and we did much of what you talk about when he had seizures which were quite frequent. Things haven't changed much in all those years i...

Re: How much Do I let Angel do???

Boy, it sure is scary letting them do things after all the pain and anxiety and horrible emotional upheaval that one goes through. I think it sounds like she has been held down long enough and she should be loose when you are there for sure. That way you know what she is doing and can stop any rough...

Re: Bailey and the Kong

I am so glad Bailey likes the peanut butter kong. I bet that it could be they are doing it because they are contented. Nidgie always looks like he is mesmerized when he is doing it and he is so peaceful and happy. Never hurts anything other than getting it all wet. No big deal unless you sit on the ...

Re: Excessive licking

We had a cat sort of like that. Weighed 22# and had beautiful LONG white hair. His name was Isher and he was (as all cats I have ever had) a rescue from the vet hospital where he was dropped off at five weeks for boarding through the fourth of July. They never came back to get him which was their lo...
