Thank you

I really appreciate your help - they are all great. Now I'm having trouble saving them as the right kind of file, like jpg, gif. or png. Hopefully I will figure it out soon. But what you've done is really good, and I thank you.

Thanks. I don't seem to find the editing program or whatever. I wanted his picture by my name whenever I post messages on the forum. Doesn't have to be the whole picture - just his little face. Can you help me with that?
Thank you,
Karen

Whiskers' photos & update

Happy New Year to everyone! Here are some photos of Whiskers, who you all have helped me with. Since I talked to you all last, I have taken him to see a neurologist and a physical therapist - neither which told me much more than I had already learned from you! The neurologists report says: *********...

need help to post a photo

Hi,
I am trying to post a photo of my quadriplegic kitten, and am not doing well at all. Can I email it to you and you can help me? I think the file size is too big but I don't know how to reduce it.
Thanks,
Karen

whiskers

Mari, Carol and, well everyone, really, Unfortunately I'm not one of those people lucky enuf to be able to go home for lunch. Whenever I leave home I keep Whiskers in a round foam cat bed with walls high enough that he won't roll out. Not that he really could, but he can roll from side to side -whic...

Thank you, Carol and Mari. All excellent tips, etc. I went to that link and read about "The Cat who Survived the Vet" and I cried and cried, but I'm glad I saw that. I hope that Vet was sued and ...?! A new question I have is How Long is the longest I can leave him alone? I ask because I l...

Thank you all. I am using every bit of information you give me. It turns out Whiskers didn't need an enema. It's probably like, I think Diana was describing, that "normal" might be pooping every other day. And I don't know what was wrong with the vet that initially saw him on Tuesday. I th...

Neurologist?

You all are great. Thanks for being there! Can someone explain to me what a neurologist would do? Whiskers' inability to stand or walk does not appear to be from any infectious disease and his x-rays did not show any cause for it. The Dr. said perhaps it was some kind of trauma that doesn't show up ...

I forgot to ask what you all think about him having an enema? The Dr. recommended it yesterday. But today he passed a lot of stool!? Perhaps he was just a little constipated? They said it could cost a couple of hundred dollars and if it's not really neccesary - I'd rather save the money for seeing a...

thank you Mari, Diana & Bendy Kitty for your support. Some good news - kind of - :) First, he just pooped - alot! Second, I got the results of the bloodwork and it was all normal except the phosphorus, potassium and BUN/Creatinine levels were high. The ELISA was done and the results were negativ...

Thank you Bendy & Dianne R. I am nervously awaitting the results of his bloodwork - hopefully later today.
One think definite about Whiskers is he has a great appetite!
I will write back as soon as I know more.

Whiskers

Hi, I just got back from the vet's. The Dr. (who I didn't care much for -by the way) recommended starting with x-rays and bloodwork. So that's what we did. I will get his lab results tomorrow. His x-rays were normal. What I didn't like about the Dr. : Partly her bedside manner - she seemed a little ...
