Re: 6.5 year old dog has a bump on gum - Very Worried

Hi just wanted to update that I brought my dog to another vet for a second opinion just moments ago. The vet examined and touched the lesion and said it looked like a gingival hyperplasia and that if so, there is nothing much to worry about. He also said there is no necessity to give the antibiotics...

Re: 6.5 year old dog has a bump on gum - Very Worried

My dog is a very fine boy. He doesn't struggle when I try to take photos of the bump. I am going to bring him down to another vet later this evening for an extra opinion. I am praying very hard it is a benign epulis. Depending on what the other vets we bring him to say, biopsy is likely the very nex...

6.5 year old dog has a bump on gum - Very Worried

Hi I recently discovered a pink bump on the upper gum, above the left Canine, of my 6.5 year old dog. The bump feels firm and has a smooth surface and a little "cloudy." He doesn't seem to show any signs of distress when I feel it. He is eating well and appears well. We brought him down to...

Re: Sasha's 1 year Anniversary

Thanks guys. We brought Marco to the spot where Sasha rested last weekend. It was a beautiful and tranquil evening.

Have attached a pic of him. He's turning one this Satuday and is still growing :D

Sasha's 1 year Anniversary

HI Guys Unsure if you can recall me. Had posted several pages under "Amputation" last year regarding my dog, Sasha on the battle she had regarding a complicated and unknown disease. They finally found out it was lymphoid leukemia. 21 Aug 2009 will mark the 1st year since she's gone over th...

Re: Sasha

It's been a few months since Sasha passed on. I've learnt to pick up the pieces and move on. Marco, the dog after Sasha, has a totally different personality. The boy is very intelligent, but also extremely active and stubborn at times. He's a bit of an Alpha dog and can be rather domineering at time...

Re: Sasha

It's been almost more than over 2 weeks since Sasha left. I've got a HUGE missing pang for my baby girl today. Was listening to the song "How Beautiful" by Twila Paris while driving today. The song was played while we carried Sasha's body to the animal hospital in preparation for her crema...

Moving On

Just an update to let you all know that we have decided to foster a rescued puppy. The house is terribly empty and having had Sasha for such such a long period of time, I'm at a loss when there are no dogs around in the house. A friend suggested that we foster a dog to take our minds of things a lit...

Re: Sasha

Dear Tessa Thank you for all you've done. It's never going to be the same again without Sasha and the missing pangs will always be there. I just have to learn to move on. Sasha's love lives on. Her 'mission' has been accomplished. She has to return to where she 1st came from. She's an extraordinary ...

Re: Sasha

It's done. We collected Sasha's remains this morning and scattered them at the park where we first picked her up. There was a gentle and soft breeze and a few leaves floated down to the soil when we laid her at her final resting place. It was very serene and tranqil. We know Sasha is in Heaven and a...

Re: Sasha

Just came back from the hospital. Dropped off some of the unused blankets, health supplements, etc. which we want to donate to the hospital. Met Sasha's vet who told us that they found her medical condition to be very complex and requested us if it's ok for them to keep her entire medical records as...

Re: Sasha

I'm grieving. It's different not having my baby girl around the house. I miss her. Very very much. She's been a very important part of my life. Loss is and inevitable part of life. We all have to learn to let go and move on. The beautiful chapters of Sasha has ended. It's time to move on to the new ...
