Yes it is always hard to have them go :( The kitten in the picture is my baby Trooper. I found her when she was only a few weeks old and she couldn't see. I was able to get her on medicine and I was the first person she saw. I grew attached, so I kept her instead of finding her a home. She is a few ...

One of my 4-legged clients went to the rainbow bridge.

I have a pet sitting business and have been taking care of a wonderful little dog. I don't usually talk about my clients, because of confidentiality, so I won't be giving a whole lot of details. He has been getting worse and worse and I knew this day would come but it is still hard to know I won't b...

That is so wonderful! Chinese crested are great dogs. They are the only dog that sweats, but they do need lots of skin care. I can't wait to see pictures!

I love Dave Barry! It so sounds like my house, except for the construction in underwear part. I would never ever do that. I sent the link to my husband and he asked me "why would the lady do construction in her underwear?" I replied "so she wouldn't get glue on them" LOL

LOL! I am always afraid I am grossing my clients out, because I will tell them what their dogs poop looks like and what they puked up. I try to watch what I say, but it is hard since they need to know what is going on with their dog or cat. If you want you can always discuss "gross" things...

oh no I am so sorry! I hurt my back not too long ago and was put on bed rest for a few days. That is how I found this board and these wonderful people. After a few days of horrible pain and bed rest I didn't care what I needed to do to feel better, I would have done almost anything. I still have bac...

Bendy, I am so glad to hear your mom is doing better! I hope it is just because of the fuzzies and nothing more. Disposable gloves are awesome. I use them while walking dogs and picking up their poop. I don't know if you have a Sams club or Costco nearby, but that is where I got a bunch of disposabl...

That is so rude that anyone would treat you like you are "old". What a cranky person! I hope you can adopt the dog. I stopped helping out my local shelter, because I felt that I couldn't help the animals the way I wanted to. I started my own shelter and hopefully will turning it into a ful...

I love this message board! I grew up absolutely loving animals and wanting to take care of all the ones that needed help. I hated playing with dolls, I only ever wanted to play with stuffed animals LOL. I feel I am in somewhat of the same situation. After I got my life in order and figured out what ...

I look for a vet that is good with people and pets. They have to be intelligent and tell me possible treatments instead of just giving me one option. I had a vet give me only one possible option when I took my (avatar) Trooper in for her eyes that were infected since birth. After Trooper didn't get ...

Sounds normal that most abdominal pain turns out to be nothing. Let's hope it stays that way! The doctors always say gas or stress. At least that is what I have gone through. Get better soon! If you need I will let you borrow some of my babies to help you feel better :D

I agree that you shouldn't give up on your dog yet. I adopted a Labradoodle not too long ago from a women who was having a baby and didn't want to deal with him. I also pet sit for a Goldendoodle and they are great dogs. Talk to other vets if you have to, trainers, anyone who might be able to help. ...

Bendy Kitty I love the things your mom does! I checked out the online store and had to buy something right away. I love using heat lamps for my 2 sugar gliders because it warms up the bedroom that I share with parakeets, finches, my 13 year old siamese, and my wonderful husband. (He has to be wonder...
