The vet called and Scout's blood tests came back well enough for the operation. But before I put him through all of that I am goign to try this guy and his splint which he says can stablize the joint - he comes tomorrow for the fitting and then will bring it back to fit it and adjust. Results of ortho appt

Took Scout today at 9 - he xrayed and said he has a subluxigated inner carpal joint with hyperextension.This is his "good" leg. He highly suggested surgery as the joint is very unstable - the cost is 3800 dollars and of course there are no gaurantees - the recoup period is 3 months and the...
