cat food for firmer poops
she's still having diarrhea. i'm going to try merrick today, if janie will eat it. our vet said to mix 1/4 tsp metamucil into her food each day... started that yesterday. mixed in some canned pumpkin with her food -- she ate it, but no results yet. wondering if any of you have any other tips, tricks...

just need a boost
janie had surgery not quite a week ago to remove an anal region tumor and had her sphincter removed and a rectal pull-through. of course, she's fecal incontinent now, and she just had her first poop at home.... just please tell me i CAN do this and it WILL get easier-- it was all gooey and had dried...

the info in the sticky is exactly what i hoped to learn here -- will talk to the surgeon tomorrow about the poop on demand -- as she had something called a rectal pull-through performed on her and, i believe, no longer has a sphincter to pucker... i don't know why, in these circumstances, that made ...
