Re: Wally
Dear Marilyn, You're such a caring person. Wally was so very lucky to have you in his life. There aren't many people who will care for a handicapped pet, and you did it a very long time. Fourteen years is a long time for a doxie- but never enough when you love something. I also cared for Schnitzel, ...

Re: Schnitzel
No time to set up a biz in photography, but thanks for the compliment. He's shown holding a new musical toy. He loved music and had a favorite song, Grieg's "Wedding at Troldhaugen". He was my singer. Carol, I almost forgot that I blew up the dryer! Once upon a time, I used the top of the ...

Re: Schnitzel
Thank you Carol, Christine and Lisa. It's taken me a while to come back and post as a lot has happened before and after his loss. I'm well again, and wanted to thank all of you :thankyou: for your support while I was a mod, and after. Schnitzel was a tough little dog who thought he was a Doberman in...

Schnitzel
It's been nearly 5 months since Schnitzel crossed the bridge. He was 14. I never could have done 8 years of care (expressed) without all of you. Thanks for the support and advice along the way. Love you!

Karen,
I'm so very , very sorry for your loss. You gave "Ambr" the best care and love on earth, and Andy was waiting for her when she crossed the bridge.
Blessings to you,
Dianne

Re: RIP my sweet Bendikins
Sasha, I'm so very sorry to hear about Bendy. He was a great inspiration to everyone who heard his story, and his legacy of surviving a difficult beginning was encouraging to a lot of people who may not have kept a pet because of its disability. Thank you, Bendy, for all the things did to help other...

Re: paralyzed dashund
Hi Lorij,
Just wanted to agree with Carol and Christine and welcome you. Any updates?
Even though paralyzed, a doxie can lead a long life. Schnitzel has been paralyzed and incontinent for 6 1/2 years. Wishing your pup a good recovery, but if not, wishing Miss Fern a long, healthy life.
