Hi Carol,
I followed the advice for uploading pictures and it says that my pictures are too big! How do I reduce them?

Re: We lost our fight
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss but it seems to be that nobody could have done more to save the dog. My dog had a central brain lesion. I found her unconscious in a pool of vomit and rushed her to the vet. He thought that she had been poisoned and treated her for this. When she came round she s...

Re: Am I the only one seeing a whole different screen?
I am seeing a different screen too and I don't like it. It is very difficult to navigate and full of tiny weenie letters that need a microscope to decipher.

Arthritis rear leg
I have a large 40 kilo plus dog called Jessie. She was x rayed in january 2007 because she was limping badly with her rear leg. The vet said she had arthritis and prescribed Condroton for the rest of her life. She has been taking it ever since. She has started limping badly again and walking with on...

Re: Diabetic Neuropathy
Hi, My old dog with diabetes and neuropathy died last thursday. I did everything possible to prolong her life but sadly lost the battle. Her back legs went first, but they weren't fused into a straight position like you describe. She began by not sitting for a few months then her legs gave out. She ...

Re: Jack Russell Terrier cervical problem and paralysis
Please don't give up yet. 5 weeks is not a long time. I had a forty kilo dog paralysed for nearly a year and now she is up and running. Okay she had a different problem and my husband was the same in favour of putting her to sleep because he couldn't bare to look at her. She proved everybody wrong a...

Re: Methyl B12
Thanks Diana, The dog does have neuropathy and I would like to try this vitamin. My problem is that I am in Brazil and it doesn't exist here. I am trying to find a way of getting it quickly unfortunately here things get caught up in customs for months at a time and the import tax will be very expens...

Re: prednisone
Thanks Diana and Critters, I am measuring her insulin three times a day with the little strips that you dip in urine because I couldn't manage with the blood test kit. She has no ears so I couldn't take blood from her ears. She is a street dog I rescued in Brazil and the vet thinks somebody cut her ...

Re: GS Mix/Handicap/EuthDate 6-20/IN. Kill Shelter
:bounce:  Jean, I too would like to thank you and say that you are truly a star. I live in Brazil, so couldn't do anything from here to help. I have thirteen rescue dogs here. Nearly all with problems either physical or mental. I know all about the stress and hard work involved in rescuing dogs...
