Re: MI--baby CHer Meezer
Thanks, everyone, and hi again, Mari. Yes, it was MC who e-mailed me. I'm glad to learn that the foster is "seriously considering" adopting the little girl. How could she bear to part with her after a whole month already! Especially since she is an oh-so-appealing CH baby.. Please let me k...

Re: MI--baby CHer Meezer
Hi this is Pat Murray.. I hope you remember me from last year, getting Bob the CH boy from Grand Rapids (he is doing beautifully, and I just love him to pieces!), and then I was involved in trying to get Mila but that didn't happen .. Earlier this month Lee e-mailed me and s_c_a_t@yahoogroups.com ab...

Re: Bob, cerebellar hypoplasia, Grand Rapids, MI
Thank you. He is doing just beautifully! He has settled right in, and I think he has about the most mellow disposition I've ever encountered in a cat. You can read more about Bob and how he's doing and see some more pictures of him in his thread on Pet Talk at http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread....

UPDATE!!!!! Re: Bob, cerebellar hypoplasia, Grand Rapids, MI
Hi everyone.. just wanted to let you all know.. Today I took a drive to Kentwood MI (suburban Grand Rapids).. And came home with our new housemate (and CH colleague for Elmer) Bob! He is a big, beautiful solid brown-tabby boy. He is presently in his personal room (the bathroom). In there he has his ...

SWEET DISABLED CAT NEEDS HOME ASAP!!!!
Hello everyone.. I got an e-mail from Jane.. she picked up Mila last night and brought her to her home north of Lansing. She asked me to let you know that Mila arrived and is adjusting. We will figure out a time and place in the next few days for me to get Mila from her.. perhaps in Howell or Bright...

Re: SWEET DISABLED CAT NEEDS HOME ASAP!!!!
Hello milasmomma and TenHouseCats, where is Mila going in Michigan? I'm just finding out about her now. I live in Ann Arbor in a small apartment with four cats (one a CH boy, so I'm used to cats who fall over when walking). I would be delighted to foster Mila, at least. Maybe I can keep her.. I've a...

Re: Bob, cerebellar hypoplasia, Grand Rapids, MI
Hi Samantha, I'm Pat in Ann Arbor. Let's talk some about Bob maybe moving to A2.. I live in a very small apartment with Elmer (my brown tabby CH boy) and three other cats, but if Bob and they can work it out to get along, well, he's welcome here! I will send you a PM with other ways you can get ahol...

Re: Bob, cerebellar hypoplasia, Grand Rapids, MI
Hello, I am just seeing these posts now. I am in Ann Arbor, maybe a couple hours' drive from Grand Rapids. I have a CH boy, Elmer, already, plus three other cats. I may be adopting another HP cat, Honey, from Wisconsin, but if that doesn't happen, and if Helene or Cristy doesn't adopt Bob, maybe I'l...

Re: hind legs "click" and possible cerebellar hypoplasia??
Cristy, Gill's offer sounds perfect for Little Bear. And two hours rather than ten hours in a moving car will indeed be kinder and gentler for her. I am not in the least offended. I was worried that I don't really have that much to offer.. the four cats and I live in a 2-room apartment.. but I wante...

Re: hind legs "click" and possible cerebellar hypoplasia??
Cristy, it looks like you'll be a hundred miles or so north of me straight up US23...which is the road you'd take when you turn right at Toledo driving into Michigan on your way from New Jersey. You could drop her off on the way! If you don't drive for the move, I could drive up there and get her (c...
