Thanks, "Critters". We're glad it worked out and the original owner is relieved, too.

Re: URGENT NEED HELP GETTING CAT OUT ROWAN COUNTY A/C, NC
We sent a lot of e-mails, FB page posts, etc. on Tues. a.m but had not had any luck finding anyone in NC to spring Snowball from Rowan County, so at 2pm we decided to drive up ourselves ((4 hour round trip) - we got there w/ 10 mins. to spare and on fumes in the gas tank! But we got him out and brou...

Re: kitty hit by car, vet grim but hope found here
Have had several rear-end/pelvic injured cats (plus experience w/ human spinal-cord injured), two w/ total paralysis of both back legs and tail, one of whom soon recovered fully (was 6 weeks old when injured by dogs) and got adopted (he did, however, suffer major urinary stone blockage about 2 years...

Re: Sad update on Icecream, white kitten, SC, head stuck in jar
Yesterday I called Christian, the young lady who originally found this kitty, to see whether she could send me a picture or two to post to the board. She said that Donna from the new sanctuary in our area that I called the day Christian first called me had come and got the kitten and taken it to a v...

Re: White kitten, SC, head was stuck in jar, handicapped
Sandy, the kitten, I think, has only had one "accident" - getting its head stuck in the jar. Then it was rescued and the jar removed, and the rescuer noticed it had seizures and one or two other problems, either as a result of the jar being stuck over its head for who knows how long, or pe...

White kitten, SC, head was stuck in jar, handicapped
I run a Columbia, SC rescue and received a call this week from a young woman who said she had found a white blue-eyed kitten walking down the street with its head stuck in a peanut butter jar, presumably because it was so hungry it tried to eat from the jar and got stuck. The young lady said the jar...
