Re: Brusing from expressing?
Thanks Carol. I can't imagine what caused it but at least it is now fading.

Brusing from expressing?
Is it normal to have substantial bruising result from expressing? Riley's skin turned black on both sides in the area that would be handled when expressing him and three months later is only now returning to it's normal color.

Re: great panties for bowel and bladder incontinence
Wow, these look incredible! I have just one question. What happens with the bowel movement? If the dog sits down doesn't it smear all over her?

Re: Vet Charges
What a great picture! Did you get that on the first try?! I haven't had much access to the internet for awhile but with my tax refund and the rebate I was able to get a nice little home computer. I'm still using the first three wraps I bought years ago. They are kind of coming apart but I'll just st...

Vet Charges
Hello everyone. I would appreciate some feedback regarding what some of you are paying for vet charges. In past experiences with previous pets, vets always seemed to charge less for regular customers. The vet I have been seeing for the past 8 years continues to charge me the same amount that he char...

Re: Adorable, loving 2 pound chihuahua puppy needs caregiver
Do you know of a way to get her to Washington state? I think it's a possibility I could take her if she could be transported. I currently have a dog with a birth defect that resulted in no bladder or bowel control so I'm used to it.

Re: Canine spina bifida
I know how confusing and emotionally stressful this time is for you. My dog also suffers from a condition similar to spina bifida and I remember how terrible the first year was - no real answers, no real hope. He's now 8 and loving every minute of life. His problem is in his lower body - no bladder ...

Resistance to Antibiotics
How is Bombon doing? Riley's test results yesterday were good. He is no longer on the three weeks off, one week on, pulse therapy and is now on a daily low dose of Clavamox. I'm working on expressing him. I've been successful sometimes but not nearly enough. His doctor told me that due to Riley's ne...

Re: Resistance to Antibiotics
I'm glad to hear the good news about Bombon. I will say a prayer for continued improvement. Riley seems to be doing well on the Clavamox. His new vet showed me how to express him and I'm working on that technique now. Take care.

Re: Male wraps from Unique Accessories
I'm using three of them that I bought about five years ago. The velcro finally stopped sticking so I asked them if they could send me more and they did (free of charge). I wash those things every day and dry them in the dryer. They are just now starting to show their age.

Resistance to Antibiotics
Riley has developed a very serious urinary tract infection. Two weeks on Baytril have not helped, the infection is worse. Since he has been on Bayrtil for his pulse therapy, the doctor believes he has built up a resistance to it. He is now on Clavamox. His doctor mentioned he may need to have a diff...

Re: Looking for Canine Spina Bifida specialist
HI Linda, I have a Lhasa Apso with spina bifida. Prior to finding the vets I see now (Sumner Vet Hospital, Sumner, Washington) I spoke with doctors at Washington State University Veterinary Hospital in Pullman, Washington and they told me they have treated dogs with spina bifida there. My dog was no...

Re: Homeless Man Needs Pet Bike Stroller for Handicapped Dog
Hello, thank you for responding. I do not know this person but have seen him on the road. He frequents an area near my sister's home in an unincorporated part of King county. There are little and/or no resources for the homeless in this area. The dog appears to be handicapped or perhaps just too old...
