What a great post!! OMG i learned soo much about swimmers puppies.. I spent some time googling just so that I could understand better, and I did find that site you linked to but really what a great post I also feel that a puppy, ESPECIALLY one like this would need someone full time to look after him...

thanksa bunch for all the help again. I just got an PM from Carole about a swimmer puppy bulldog that is in need of help. Hoping that we can be the ones to help this guy out. I am really amazed that we have bred these dogs into a place where they technically would not survive without human intervent...

FYI thanks for the great links Sent some emails out and a the two that responded so far said that they will not adopt out to out of state adoptees - i even offered to do a live video stream of my house to them so that they could see where I lived. And the other pooch (Yoda) is said to not get along ...

oh.. and we USED to live in Fairfield County. We are in New Haven County now, but since Cappy comes to work with me every day in Milford, they were willing to do the story...
