Hi everyone! I haven't posted in about 1.5 years. I just wanted to post and update on my wonderful special kitties.... Let's see... a year an a half ago I had 1 hydrocephalus cat, 1 hyperthyroid cat, 1 cat with asthma/IBD and was fostering a kitten born without back feet..... Since then.... the hype...

Right there with you.... after fostering a total of about 250+ cats and kittens I'm taking a break. I'm completely burnt out and need to focus on my own animals for a while (10 cats and 1 dog).

Have you asked your vet about hydrocephalus? (water on the brain). It's common in Chi's and if your dog is in-bred the likelihood is even higher. Dogs should have no problem with 3 legs so the weakness and especially the seizures are symptoms of hydrocephalus. Your pup's skull looks a little more do...

My poor Fancy girl..... she had a seizure the other day (often for her since she has hydrocephalus which is water on the brain). We are guessing this is the case since I came home on Wednesday from work and fuond her in the bathroom with a severly dislocated shoulder. Her leg was twisted 180 degrees...

Well I can tell you that Fancy and Purrfect are NOT suffering. They are two of the happiest little cats you will ever meet. They deserve life just as much as a non-handicapped cat does.
