Kandu pics...maybe

I finally got a chance to download a couple of pictures of Kandu taken while he was visiting us. He managed to break his cart while here...probably bouncing up the stairs or tumbling with his JRT buddy, Doc.

His owners are working on a website for him. He is touching a lot of people.

The bib idea is along the lines that I have been thinking... I found a saddlemaker today who I think will build the "skidplate" design that I came up with using a scrap of saddle skirting and fleece lining with just two straps with velcro or buckles. If leather can be used for shoe soles, ...

We didn't have luck finding a cart for the JRT with no front legs either. Fortunately, his foster dad makes protheses for humans for a living so has been helping out. The biggest problem has been weight -- which would be even more with a chihuahua. He spent his first three years without any cart or ...

Two legged JRT needs creative equipment ideas

I am caretaking a JRT that was born with no front legs. He has a wheeled cart for walks and does fine playing with other dogs. He even has a mono-ski for snow season. He is a certified therapy dog and visits hospitals and nursing homes. The problem we have is making/buying a padded "thing"...
