Help identifying kitten's condition

there is a kitten in the shelter near my house with a condition I have never seen. The shelter can't/won't get a diagnosis for it and I am wondering if anyone has an idea about what might be wrong. Its head is too big for its body and its eyes seem to be the opposite of cross-eyed; each eye goes out...

Isn't it just incredible how much they can endure. Even the poor feral babies with just a bit of time and patience can become loving and trusting animals. If only we were so good and so worthy.

PS It is my impression that it's not a good idea to leave a cat diapered all day but there are a lot more people with a lot more info than I have.

Mommy, I have never had a paralyzed kitty. The one I sponsored went directly with her baby from the shelter to the vet and I believe she is still at the vet. They contacted me a few weeks ago and told me that she was going to be their "house cat" at the clinic. My handicapped pet is Lucy, ...

Mommy, that IS what she said about the poops, and if I recall correct she feeds an all-natural diet. Lots of stuff on the internet about how to do that; check the yahoo group rawcat or rawcats.
