Update on Jaz, newly blind, deaf

Hello, I am sorry I have not posted, you guys have been so helpful that I feel bad. Jaz, my 9 year old keeshond, has gone completly blind. He had a hard time adjusting, probably because it happened so fast. The first couple of weeks were hard for all of us. But, know, a few months later, he is doing...

humilon N vs relion N

Has anyone used the relion? How did it work for you and how would you switch your pet to relion? My keeshond is 9 year old and was diagnosed about 9 months ago with diabetes. He has been very stable. I was wondering if it would be a problem to swith from the humilon to the relion and save some money...

Re: New here could use some help and hope blind/deaf dog

Thank you for the list. Yes, I have read the stickies, as well as a ton of websites. Some of the other places have not been much help. I know that I am stressing out more then he is. I CAN make this work, I just need to convince myself. I apologize if I am repeating subjects already discussed, and a...

Thank you critters! Yes, I can see how I will really need to spen time on yard work, I guess when we get to the new house, I will have to crawl around on me knees and check things out. I hope he, and I adapt to his handicaps.

Re: New here could use some help and hope blind/deaf dog

Thanks Bobbi. I love to garden, and never thought to use plants to help him orientate himself. My standard schnauzer is trained to 'get Jaz', and she will find him if he doesn't hear us (By find him I mean the house or fenced yard) and then he follows her, but that will not work so well when he cann...
