I emailed them, but please note that there is no use in writing Peg. She no longer works there.

I'm emailing Sherry about him now. I'm sure he is highly adoptable, if he does not get institutionalized.

Re: MD-8 week kitten w/rear paralysis looking for a forever

I believe I could help her with nerve repair and with finding an eventual permanent home. I would foster her in the meantime and make sure that she retains her affectionate and sweet disposition. This will ensure that someone will want to adopt her even if she always has litter box/continency proble...

Re: MAYBELLINE - Dislocated sacrum/nerve damage kitty in CT

No, indeed, I am not at all a saint. If she is a sweet and loving kitty, it will not be impossible to find a loving home for her; some people will be wanting a "diaper baby" and, if your report of her temperament and "people-y" behavior is accurate, we'll find 'em! I have not rec...

Re: DC METRO - 15 y/o HyperT Cat in KILL SHELTER

Sure, Rena. Thanks. He is on his way and ought to be here in an hour or so; he's in the car with my driver. Everyone who meets him says he is very sweet; the driver kept him overnight and says he slept all around the bed with her and is eating, drinking, and bathrooming well. Hopefully, the human &q...

Re: DC METRO - 15 y/o HyperT Cat in KILL SHELTER

This kitty is, if our plans go well, coming to my place on Sunday the 29th. I will find him a good, stable home from here once his condition is stable. He's come down with major URI from the kill shelter environment he was taken from, but he seems very happy. I have not met him yet but I heard his p...

Re: MAYBELLINE - Dislocated sacrum/nerve damage kitty in CT

I can take her if you can get her to me. I'm near Albany. I can give her Wellness, raw foods, and nerve-repair supplements; and can find her a permanent home of high quality. However, I would love to get an honest report on whether she is good with other kitties, adults. I try desperately to avoid f...

I'm emailing you both about him as well (as the 15-years cat you posted). I agree that he sounds highly adoptable and I or my group could take him, treat him, and find him a DESERVING, non-scum permanent home. Thanks.

Re: DC METRO - 15 y/o HyperT Cat in KILL SHELTER

Hi - I am a NY rescue worker and I have written to the two email addresses provided, in case you would be OK with our taking him. I'd foster him and eventually find him a great home. There is ALWAYS a home for a superloving cat; once I started looking for one, I'd get several inquiries a day (not al...

Traumatized CH Kitty Going to be Killed

HI, I am trying to find sanctuary for a tortoiseshell CH kitty who is spooked by her own disability. She can move around, get around, jump up onto beds and off them, eat/drink, use the litter box, but she is frightened and not particularly friendly or responsive to human affection, company, or touch...
