Re: Feral cats...
Like i said, some people think it is more humane to kill them than to allow them to live a wild life. I don't know the circumstances of your window flying cats; but i do know of a few cases of cats who were 100% indoors born and raised who went thru windows . You cannot trap a wild possum, skunk, ca...

Do you NEED to have your pet cat cuddle in your lap and allow you to pick it up whenever you want to? then maybe , MAYBE i...

Re: disabled kitten needs forever home in upstate NY
Does anyone remember this one? THis little kit is doing very well. He actually took another cat with him. the other cat had many medical issues and has since passed away. This one has blossomed into a very curious, energetic, playful cat who leaps and bounds and gets into everywheres-- just like a h...

Re: I don't understand what the vet means
P.S.: I know you will get 20 replies to seek a new vet. But , be aware that many vets will not think it desirable to keep a dog alive who i showing signs of an inability to walk by himself. We wish the whole world was as enlightened as ourselves but this simply is not the case. You can use aids to a...

Re: I don't understand what the vet means
She is old; unfortunately there is no cure for that... i would consider using a bottums up type harness to aid her in keeping her back end up and going in the direction she desires. i agree with you that the cart may just be too much for her to deal with. since the front end works and she is trying,...

one day, this lady saw a homeless cat and instead of only saying "oh that is too bad" she was able to rally and organize everyone in town who gave a care and started saving the strays. she rents an entire house to home them and her and one other lady mainly do all the daily care. this lady...

Re: Test Strips for Kidney/UT/other issues?
You can buy pool test strips for ph relatively cheap. see if you can find someone with a pool who uses strips or else buy some at walmart. you can also purchase litter that tests for blood in the urine at walmart or petsmart; or other places too. you can call the receptionist or nurse at your doctor...

Re: more tragedy
i did have her put to sleep. she was in pain, she at very least needed medications. she probably needed surgery which the surgeons did not want to get into because "she would be left unable to poop on her own. and pelvic fractures are extremely painful." her pelvis was not just cracked, but...
