Expressing my cat
My cat had a tail injury on 06/15/10 and has no bladder function yet. After a week of having someone come to my house to help I've been expressing him with ease. When I had him on his side to do it - I was able to get pee out 3x a day - 7am, 3pm, 10pm. I found a position with him upright that I can ...

Is this a positive sign?
So my Cat Ziggy's tail was amputated on Tuesday. He has no anal paralysis although I've yet to see a bowel movement. The bladder ... well the vet said only time will tell & we're hoping for a full recovery. This morning he ate breakfast and drank some water for the first time that I've seen. Exp...

Re: Cat with broken tail - amputation :(
Thank you :) I appreciate the support. I was told to have him only use pellet litter because he also has about 3 inches of stitches on his leg ffrom a bit & a draining tube which comes out today & we didn't want any litter getting on the wound. I tried expressing him & would get a few dr...
