Re: New 3 legger on the block!

Glad to hear that Giz is or will be back on his wheels and the great part is that his cart will truely help him. The coats you wear on him are so adorable, I can't say enough times how very cute he is. I was on you tube watching some of his video's earlier today and just wondered how he was doing af...

Re: Our pup Jaida gets strange looks too.

Jadia's leg does look like it bothers her, it would have to. Her other leg is huge and powerful looking, more than strong enough to work on its own. Thank God this is going to happen when she is young and also thank God you rescued her from a life of abuse and pain. It bring tears to my eyes to know...

Re: Our pup Jaida gets strange looks too.

My goodness Jaida is a real cutey. She is one lucky puppy. Is her leg problem a birth defect or an injury? Is it in her way when she walks? People do look and some don't know what to say, but to be outright ingnorant well thats their problem. My dog is missing his left front leg and with the weather...

Re: New 3 legger on the block!

Hi birdsong I have loved watching little Gizzy's videos and hearing of his progress. Sorry about the set back and really hope that his problem is not caused by his cart. Is the young voice in the videos your son? He sounds like a great kid and seems to share your love of Gizzy. That full face shot o...

Re: We had our phonecall -his leg's gone

Hello Adelaide It is so great to here that your baby is doing so much better. I also saw a great improvment at the two month period. I laughed so hard at your walking story, my boy acts just the same. I always walk him second cause I have another dog that I have to walk. I let him walk off leash unl...

Re: recovery pain amputation

Hello Threasa Sorry to here you girl is not doing as good as you like. The larger dogs have more problems just because of their weight. My dog is 50 lbs and had his left front leg amputated three months ago yesterday. I was also told there could be some complication, but luckly we had a pretty text ...

Re: three-legged dog club

Hello to all Can anyone help me find Gizzy's mom, the lady who adopted the little white dog from a lady that could not care for him any longer. His front legs are deformed and she was having a cart made for him. She called his one front leg his fin. I have been searching and can't find them and woul...

Re: Thor

Hello Thor's mom Thor is a real beauty, how did he loose his leg? I can't figure out how he dug up someones yard with one leg, doesn't seem like to much damage could be done with one leg. I have a five year old aussie (Luke) with missing left front leg. I would have another amputee in my life with n...

Hi Helen and Biscuit

I loved the chicken thing, what a great start to my morning. Dogs love chicken and Sam's Club is the best. So glad to hear she is getting around for you. She is quite a dog.

I hope his cold gets all better soon so when his fancy cart comes he can go for long walks. Can you just imagine the joy of a first real walk. He is going to ma...

Helen Glad to hear she is home, poor baby she really needs her moms help right now. I hope she starts to eat for you soon, maybe when she is not so dopey. The bond of love between you two will be a great blessing at this time of her getting back on her feet. I am looking forward to hear of Biscuits ...

Re: Front leg amputation

Hello Helen I know you are excited and nervous about bringing your girl home tomorrow. I took a few days off of work to stay with my boy Luke when he first came home. I don't know how your house is layed out, but I stayed on the first floor with him and kept him in a big soft crate for the first thr...

Hi Amy I just found out by reading about Crazy Bear that you lost Tyler in Dec. I am so sorry, yet so impressed with your dedication and love for him. He had a wonderful life with a mom that loved him so. It has been a few months now and I hope you are coping OK. Is another dog in your future. It wo...

Re: Front leg amputation

Hi Helen That sounds like a very good plan. I am so glad that they can take you so soon. I never have heard of sumarin, the only thing I heard of to shrink the tumor is radiation. I am so sorry that doing an amputation of the front leg may not be the best thing for your girl with her other problems....
