experience with stifle braces?
My 12 yr old girl, Roo, has recently torn her cruciate ligaments. She is pretty unstable in her knee joint, but she gets around ok. She is not a very active girl anyway, but I would like to make her as comfortable as possible in what she does do. We put her on Metacam for pain and she is already tak...

Re: need help and advice for parents dog
Depending on what company you decide to go with, they each have measurements they need and can assist you over the phone if necessary. Custom carts need very precise measurements. The Walkin' Wheels I got for Bailey was "off the shelf" and less specific as it is not custom. I think people ...

Re: need help and advice for parents dog
Just wanted to add about dog carts, if Clyde would need one, that Bailey loves his cart and adjusted beautifully. I got him a Walkin' Wheels, mostly because it is collapsable and allows for easier transport, though that wouldn't be a problem for adorable little Clyde. We go hiking, and everything he...

Re: Xylitol in gabapentin (Neurontin)
Trooper takes Gabapentin for seizures....the xylitol is ONLY in the liquid form, not the tablets or capsules. If liquid is needed, talk to your pharmacist or have it compounded.

Re: Please help with bathroom issues
Hi Kara! My dog Bailey has DM (degenerative myelopathy) and also has a Walkin Wheels cart. I'm mostly expressing him now, but when we first got the cart and he had more control (DM is progressive) I noticed that he did not urinate as well in the cart (he dribbled) as he did in his harness that we us...
