Re: HELP- possible Twisty Kittens- southern CA
Sadly, I just received an email from the good Samaritan that the little kitten has passed away. The larger sibling is doing well, and she is trying to find out if a rescuer who was going to take both kittens will still take just the larger one, who is less affected.

HELP- possible Twisty Kittens- southern CA
Hi! I am helping someone find homes for 2 kittens with twisted front legs that she just found 2 days ago. The kittens are approx 4 weeks old (guestimated), born to a feral mom, and are located in Rialto CA. The smaller kitten is much more affected than its larger brother. If you know of any local r...

Re: Incontinent Frenchie pup in SO CA
Ginny had her bilateral FHO and cherry eye repair yesterday, and is recovering. Once she's back up on her feet and is able to walk again, she will be ready for adoption. http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/qq334/EKGriffiths/postopcollage.jpg http://i461.photobucket.com/albums/qq334/EKGriffiths/postop...

Re: Paraplegic French bulldog seeking forever home
Yay!!!
Arby is getting adopted! His new family is driving out (about a 6 hr trip each way) and picking up Arby at the beginning of July.
Arby is a very lucky boy; and I feel blessed to have had him as my first paralyzed foster dog.

Re: Paraplegic French bulldog seeking forever home
Thank you Christine. Honestly I am not much of a Facebooker, and our rescue group prefers potential adopters to be directed to the rescue's website. I guess they're not big on social media.. On Arby's bio page, there is a slideshow recounting his MRI day, including a little video showing him walking...

Paraplegic French bulldog seeking forever home
Hi, I am the 'mom' of neurologically-challenged Frenchie Remy, and now I am fostering another special needs Frenchie. Arby is a 3-4 year old, neutered male Frenchie who is paralyzed in the rear legs. He recently had an MRI but unfortunately it determined that Arby is not a surgical candidate. Arby c...

Re: New to the Forum. Please meet Remy
Thanks Jean. I will be contacting Remy's neuro vet and internist and discuss with them further. It definately is a concern of mine, and I'd hate for him to get another prostate infection or as you mentioned, kidney failure. He's due for a UA anyways. He's such a joy to me, and I want to do what need...

Re: New to the Forum. Please meet Remy
Hi there I also have a frenchie that has very similar issue. But she's only 9 weeks old. My friend turned her down from the breeder once she found out she has incontinence both fecal and bladder so I took her. She is also wobbly both her hind legs. She has no feeling on her bottom at all though she...

Re: New to the Forum. Please meet Remy
Thanks for the response! From what I understand, he has arthritis or denegerative changes in the neck. You can turn over a front paw and he will not right it, or if he does it takes a while. He hasn't had an MRI or any other diagnostic tests besides sonograms on his bladder and prostate. A recent bl...

New to the Forum. Please meet Remy
Hi. My name is Erika and I'm brand new here. I foster Boston terriers and French bulldogs. My last foster dog, Remy, was with me for 10 months without any acceptable adoption applications, and with his worsening condition, I decided to adopt him myself. Remy is a 7 year old Frenchie born with severe...
