I'm trying to figure out how they put it on her. over her head? or pulled up over her legs/tail.
Barnabus won't let me put things over his head.

Re: Another broken back brown tabby at the vet
Just brought him home. This weekend hopefully will see everything flowing smoothly. he is zooming all over. the vet staff was completely charmed, three different techs told me how loving and fun he was. apparently he was also very cooperative except for happily tying his lines in knots. I know he mi...

Another broken back brown tabby at the vet
His bladder blocked by mucous. 23 years ago, or was it 22, i lost my dear Leggy Legume to massive bladder thickening from a horrible resistant infection. I swire I would do better. Have I learned anything? Dear little Barnabus, about to turn a year old, you remind me of my gumie bean. Hoping we can ...

I'm not seeing anything for under 10 pounds. Lil Barnabus is only 5 pounds. I wonder if one of my wrist splints would be adapted.

Re: Hello from the newest addition to the Bendy Family
i thin it needs to be stiffer than a knee pad. Never in my life did I think I would be able to search anywhere for 'cat back brace' and actually find things. Amazon? holy cow. I am going to look around. He is on crate rest right now saying he feels much better and please can he come out now? please?

Re: Hello from the newest addition to the Bendy Family
He is actually a dark tabby, he had an episode today where his back was dore. I think he plays very hard and strains something. I need to look into someway to stabilize his back for him. got him on some metacam, all his labs looked great. I can't remember any discussions of feline back braces, or re...

Hello from the newest addition to the Bendy Family
Popping in for a quick hello. This is Barnabus kitten. He arrived with partial use of his hind legs and somehow while I was away for just a few hours and he was in a cage, managed to do something to his back and now has no use of his hind legs. He was already incontinent. He is a happy lil guy zoomi...

Re: Trouble adjusting to incontinence diapers/stud pants
Hello! FLUTD can be a complicated issue. Sometimes just feeding special food is all you need to do, but not always. It is often related to anxiety/stress. I have a little girl who gets very bloody urine, no crystals, just inflammation. Took her to a specialist who said "your cat is stressed.&qu...

Re: urethra and intestine connected possibly?
Wow. that is uncommon. You get a lot of strange abnormalities in these cats, usually things like no anus at all, or one that has no tone, but this is a new one for me. The one issue that jumps out to me is that this opens the possibility of fecal contamination in the urethra, which is a huge risk fo...

Re: Front legs
Hello CatGuy! Please please please give us more info on these kittens. I am in NC and know various people in rescue. If you can describe the kittens as in, are they eating on their own? Do they have any obvious deformities? can they walk? are they dragging their back legs? Do their heads/faces look ...

Happy purrday Bendy
Today is the Late Great Bendy Cute Kitty's birthday. He would have been 21. I used to tell him that I needed him to get to 30 but instead he had to leave at 11. Thanks to this tiny mite of a kitten I was launched into handicapped pet care, coming here with just a few others to try and figure things ...
