Help Needed: Wait, Wait, Wait!!!
I am so confused now. Yes with the saran wrap or no? This wound has been around for months. If I wrap it (yes, this is the dog that eats EVERYTHING) she eats the vet wrap. No, not chews it off, eats it. Same with Muttluks. We eat those too, buckle and all!!! There is no keeping this dog's foot wrapp...

Other Honey/Sugar
How the heck do you get it to stay on the area? As soon as I sprinkle the sugar on and look the other way, Rajah is making a snack of her foot!!!

Re: Other Our One Year Anniversary!!
Where's Rajah's picture on the website? I'm dying to see her on the website! She's on dogster.com, you know? You should go check her cute little butt out and if your shids aren't on there, they should be!!! Rajah has made TONS of progress since I posted last. We started acupuncture a few months ago ...

Accupuncture?
In addition to the supplements and bedding we have added Rimadyl (rx) and accupuncture to our regimine. It really seems to be helping!
Re: Dogs: FCE
We used doggie litter until Rajah had a better ability to get up and down the stairs. It will come. They are amazingly adaptable!

Re: News: critter accupuncture article
Great article. Rajah started acupuncture 2 weeks ago and while the results have not been outstanding, I do think that she has better control of her legs. She seems to have more purposeful movement now. We are going to try a few more times and see what happens. Anyone else have experience with this?

Re: Other: My Baby Winni is in Heaven
I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling. I am getting ready to go into a meeting at work and I am bawling! I felt like Winni was one of our own. The board sort of adopts all the babies that are here. I miss her too and I am so sorry.

Re: Dogs: Paralyzed dog *PIC*
I have a GSD with a severe spinal cord injury. Don't let anyone tell you she won't have a superior quality of life. That is totally up to you. Rajah's life is better now than ever (spoiled brat). It takes time and lots of care, but it can be done. With PT/Hydrotherapy & Accupuncture we are able ...

That was me...
I posted about the crossing. Our therapist recommends doing inner leg stretches. Apparently, the legs cross as the muscles/ligaments tighten from non-use. I just lay Rajah on her side and stretch them back a few times a day. You know, during commercials, before bed, it doesn't take long. Right away ...

Dogs: Now the other one
I took Divita into the emergency room on Friday night for a lump just outside of her anus. They said it was probably an impacted anal gland and lanced it to remove excess fluid. I had to take her in today for follow up. They found another lump further inside. We got a ton more antiobiotics and were ...
