Recommend me a wheelchair please!
I'm trying to make a decision whether to order a quad from doggon wheels or Eddie's for 14 years old dog, with paralyzed rear legs, weakening front legs and neck problems. We suspect he has DM unfortunately. He is 55lb. Could you please share with me your thoughts on both options? I see the stabilit...

Re: MRI risks
Thank you Bobbie. Your responses helped me a lot. We won't do the mri finally. There was no point to take such a risk I see you are a wheelchair specialist. Could you please tell me if there is something I should be aware of before trying to put him in the wheelchair? (four wheels) k9chart style. I ...

CarolC
Your words touched me deeply. That's exactly how I feel. Unfortunately I don't have full control of what will happen because my family is quite in favor of doing the MRI despite my requests. Thank you for your sensitive responses. I appreciate it a lot.

MRI risks
I've already posted another question days ago. Now I have a new doubt. My dog is 14 years old. He has a heart condition and recently remained paralyzed of his rear legs. Doctors tell me he absolutely needs an MRI with anesthesia to determine the exact cause of the sudden paralysis. I'm very scared b...

Re: Torito. Suddenly paralyzed, rear legs
I am not a vet, and I am sorry I have a lot of questions. What breed is he? I assume this is a medium or large dog if you were using the Helpmeup harness? he is a Hungarian Viszla If he was showing neck pain when you used the harness, then it is better to move him a little as possible. If a cervica...

Re: Torito. Suddenly paralyzed, rear legs
Bobbie, we are taking care of him as a baby. We don't let him one second alone. So there's no risk he does an abrupt movement. Regarding the doctors credentials.. Well the doctors said the damage is in the spinal chord but they don't know exactly were. So I don't see how they can treat him if they d...

Re: Torito. Suddenly paralyzed, rear legs
Is he having neck pain right now with the use of the Helpmeup harness? Is he on any anti-inflammatory, steroids, or pain medication? No apparent neck pain when we make him walk using the harness for those two or three minutes. (at least it was like until last week before we started the therapy) And...
