Hi, this morning while I was expressing Georgie's bladder I said "good boy" and both myself and my son witnessed Georgie's tail move up and down. Not fast..but it did go up and down. I tried it again "Good Boy" and he moved his tail again...this is a very good sign right????? :D ...

Georgie is on 500mgs of Methocarbamol once a day and 25 mgs of Carprofen once a day. Also, I thought worth mentioning, he can still "shake" himself. You know how the dogs do when they are wet? Do you think that is a good sign?

thanks so much for the responses to my post. It's comforting to read that other owners and pets have sucessfully made the transition to living with special needs. Georgie weighs 11 pounds. His injury is in his lower back. He isn't moving his legs at all and does not appear to be in pain, not crying ...

I just came home from work on 11/8/13 and started panicking because my dog Georgie didn't come to greet me like he always does...I thought he was dead because he ALWAYS comes to the door.
