Your English is fine.. I'm glad he is doing better. Very glad you found a way for him to eat. Can he drink? You might be able to give him meat broth, just a thought if you aren't already. what i meant about the medicine is do you know if he is being given something for swelling? comparing medicines ...

Re: Facial Paralysis after injury

Prednisone? getting inflammation down will help the nerve recover, in general nerves takes months to recover. I have heard of nerves taking as long as a year to recove...

Hopper ran around in her dress like she didn't even notice it. It certainly didn't get in the way of her sharing our dinner. Butterbean just thinks ...

Re: "Hunched" position after expressing bladder?

I would get a urinalysis done. I find the sudden increased fear of expressing, or dislike of expressing can often be related to bladder pain, which usually indicates infection.

Glad she has been doing well :)

Butterbean's fifth anniversary is on the 24th!

Five years, wow.
five years since this little guy arrived here. He has been quite the tale of tricky medical conditions but I think I mostly have him down now.

it also happens to be thanksgiving, Bean says it's "thanks for giving me a home" day!

Re: Urine infection & skin irritation

i hate it when they turn their noses up at the food that is best for them. ok, find some vitamin C powder, soemtimes it is sold for small animal pets, and give her extra vitamin C. This will help acidify her urine, as much as possible stay away from fish. I have a Cat It flower fountain, so it has l...

Destin is poisonous to cats! PLEASE do not use it unless you are using an ecollar or pants or something to make absolutely sure she does not lick it, it can kill her. Re: Manx syndrome questions

a lot of vets don't have much experience with it, I"m glad you foudn a vet to work with you. i have found the number one issue is to keep the gut moving, they get constipated so easily! fiber added to their food (pumpkin or physillum husk) and a lot of liquid are critical. some need medication, some...

Re: Constipated Manx kitten

not throwing up is a big deal. is teh food the Royal Canin Intestinal Diet? I ask because I had mixed results with it, but I know some people who swear by it. Is she drinking a lot? Getting them to drink more is very helpful. I would think if she hasn't pooped by tomorrow morning (i'm on teh east co...
