Re: Cats Bendy update, recovering from teeth removal

Oh, Bendy, bless your little heart. Congratulations on being able to yawn again! I hope the Tooth Fairy came to your house. You deserve at least 6 shrimpies! I'd be picky about my food too, if I had that many teeth removed. My friend Betsy has almost no teeth left (the vet says she has 2, but they'r...

Re: Leaky Old Female Dog Syndrome *LINK*

Hi Marty, Below I am putting a link to info on D.E.S., which is a form of estrogen. It says you can use it alone or in combination with Pro-in if you're having trouble controlling incontinence. I was surprised that you have to give the Pro-in several times a day. It is certainly easier to give D.E.S...

Leaky Old Female Dog Syndrome *LINK*

Hi Marty, The most I can offer is sympathy, as I have the same problem with my senior long-haired mini-dachshund Matilda. The girl at the vet clinic jokingly called it leaky old female dog syndrome. My dog's bed is a folded blanket next to the computer. I started noticing she would unfold her blanke...

Other Topic RichB, I've been thinking... *LINK*

there's a problem that needs to be solved for these dogs, and I am just sure it can be solved. How?--I don't know. If you look at the link you'll see pictures of dogs in carts and in one a dachshund named Daisy is lying down. She has walked onto a big floor pillow until her wheels docked with it, an...

Good news!

That's so much better than the first diagnosis. What a relief! My dog's physical therapist's very own Yorkie had an FCE. She ended up doing exactly what you said--training him to walk on 3 legs at first. They got him to use all 4 later, but for a while he was just using 3. Will post with suggestions...

Story: Nice work, RichB !

Did you make the cart for Raks that is featured on the homepage? I'm amazed! I remember you mentioning building carts, but I had no idea you knew how to design biomedical equipment using AutoCad. It sure looks sharp. I can just picture you all running after him when he took off! By the look on his f...

Hi Michele, I'm glad you found a vet you can work with. I hope you will stay around or come back. In case you don't, wanted to give you an articcle right now, though your dog doesn't need it. It is about bowel and bladder care. My dog has rear end paralysis and I express her bowel and bladder. There...
