Re: A Very Sad Day
It is a very special favorite of mine also. It says so much in so very few words and gives one the peaceful feeling of the sunshine and warmth of the 'otherside'.

Re: A Very Sad Day
The Rose Beyond the Wall A rose once grew where all could see Sheltered beside a garden wall And, as the days past swiftly by It spread its branches, straight and tall One day, a beam of light shone through A crevice that had opened wide The rose bent gently toward its warmth Then passed beyond to ...

Re: People are rude about Juno. What should I say?
Just wanted to say I certainly understand having a new dog helps so much to heal the loss of a previous dog. I too have lost a dog and I got two to replace him. Now one of them has IVDD. This one will not be lost to soon. I mourn the loss of Quincy and celebrate the saving of Juno. Both of them were...

Re: Birthday Yesterday!
No problem Connie! They had a great day after I realized it was their birthday. Just a total space at this time of the year I guess. Anyway, we appreciate the purple dinasour offer but think it should stay with Cricket since it is so special! : ^ ) Besides, if it is soft, Nidgie would have it unstuf...

Hi, I will be really interested in hearing about your consult with the 3rd opinion nuero. 75 lbs of dog is a lot of dog rearend to haul around. I have a hard time with 50 lbs of dachshunds (two of them) who think they both need to be picked up at the same time. Have you done anything like acupunctur...

Re: What is the longest a dog has taken to regain walk abili
How great that Sammy is getting her strength back. That is so wonderful. Blue, I think it would be more like moment to moment for me if I had the responsibilities that you have at your house. Small children and handicapped animals must equal about the same in my opinion. I would be saying a prayer o...

Blue's Best Pal wrote: mine is the same and we're pushing 10 full months. she is so responsive to touch on her feet, has full pain sensation, moves her right leg and tail when you scratch her (neuro said that's reflexive and not motor), but can't walk. it's so frustrating and i'm afraid that we're n...

Re: Tail motion
That's interesting. When I massage Dwenger in a specific place, his tail curls a certain direction also. His tail does wag though. I wonder if this has something with a muscle in the area where the tuck up of the abdomen is. Dweenger's muscels in there were very tight and caused him to have a curled...

Karen,
I cannot begin to express the feelings that washed over me after following Phoenix through his trials and tribulations. How absolutely devestating this must be for you. We extend our sympathy to you. God speed dear Phoenix.
