Re: Senior dog struggles to get up. Is it time for a wheelch

The nice thing about the Walkin Wheels Wheelchair is that a dog can use his back legs to develop muscle. If his legs are paralyzed, he can use the stirrups to hold them up.

It sounds like it is time to buy her a wheelchair. This will help her develop the muscles in her legs while using them with the cart. :D

Re: dog has no strength in any legs!

Ali,

We do have a Dealer in the UK that stocks wheelchairs and mobility items to help dogs walk with front and rear leg issues:

It sounds like your dog might benefit from a Quad Wheelchair.

Re: Our Dogs back legs getting caught in wheels

If dogs legs are getting caught up in wheels, it's usually because the cart is upside down or his legs are splayed outward. Make sure the Walkin Wheels label is on the left side of cart.

Re: Degenerative Mylapothy

Hi Michele, It is very unfortunate that your dog has DM, but here at Handicappedpets.com we have found thousands of dogs can lead a normal life with our adjustable Walkin Wheels. It is easy to adjust and use and only requires one measurement: http://www.handicappedpets.com/adjustable-dog-wheelchairs...

Hi Harlan,
I haven't been able to locate a Dealer close to Guyana so it would best best to get it shipped from our location.

Hi,

We have a website call hpets.org that is run by our Handicapped Foundation which allows dogs to get a free cart. You will need to apply to be considered.

Re: Looking for used/cheap Wheelchair

Jamie, Jason, and Charlie,

Please call me 888-811-7387 and we can discuss different options of cart sizes and discount. Is 14" the total height of your dog or is it the fold of flank. We only need the fold of flank to determine what size cart you need. Thanks, Nancy

Re: Is the Wheelchair Helping or Hurting?

Hi,

I would recommend that you take shorter walks throughout the day. Make sure she is well rested in between walks. If you notice that the front legs are getting weaker, you might need to add the front wheels.
