Oh! wiki'd him! I remember his story, soldier for King David, cuckolded by the King and refused to leave his post. Uriah. Strength under extreme pressure.

Re: help needed with open sores from hind paw brace

The stinky thing about sores is they need to drain and need to be open to do that. In human cases, it is practicable. In our pups' cases, not so. I would seriously pad while in brace and remove everything to air dry which is what you do. I guess hyou have already explored putting the pressure on a d...

Re: Eva Cassidy

Well. Wow. You have to visit the story ABC News did about her in 2001, after she had been dead for 5 years. She died at the age of 33, very quickly, but performed one last time as she was propped up on stage. What A Wonderful World.

Re: dirty carpets

Have you 'bought your SpotBot' yet? A beautiful thing. And it scrubs and scrubs and draws up and cleans. I use a variety of mixes in there and because I like the smell of clean, I'll use a drop of Mr. Clean or Pinesol in with my carpet cleaner. I picked up some fancy schmancy stuff at a dog show a c...

Me, too, Lisa, Meee too. Been to her website and will look for recordings at amazon. The voice of an angel. And never found her fame until after she died. Wade in the Water is absolutely delicious! As is everything I have listened to.

Re: Saint with sudden agression toward "brother" dog.

Ahh, big hint there. She isn't getting enough mental and/or physical exercise to start. There is a game, like a kid's concentration game, that even my deafblind excelled at. A box with sliding covers over little 'wells' which hold tiny treats. The dog has to figure out which well holds a treat and t...

Eva Cassidy

Nothing whatsoever to do with critters (sorry critters) Driving to work the other, my local "other fav" (hope Mark aint reading) driveguy played Wade in the Water by Eva Cassidy and proceeded to tell her story: She was a landscaper who turned to backup vocalist and then went out on her own...

Re: Saint with sudden agression toward "brother" dog.

I could have sworn I had responded to this very subject, but maybe just deja vu or it got lost in space? Anyway, I would put saint on short lead and tether to one end of couch, you and aussie cuddle on the other side. She watches as he is treated as your family member and it gets through her head th...

Why, no, I haven't. Protein based work pretty well, the little creatures eat the bacteria, which as i understand it is what causes the stink. Lemme know! :D

If you like, we can move this to the wheelchair forum. A lot of folks like me have no exp. w/carts, but I would say my gut says no, it would be very uncomfortable. Can you post a pic? :)
