Re: Found a great harness that supports front and back ends
Hi Ellen, It is sad news that Sadie's osteosarcoma is in her shoulder & elbow, worse that it has likely metasized in her lungs. Crap! 11 is a great age for a Swiss Mt x...but it is never long enough for us, caretakers / pet parents. I give fish oil because it a great natural anti-inflamatory for...

Re: bladder stones
Science diet has or used to have an S/D formula (stone diet). It is or was (been awhile since I was vet tech in a daily not emergency practice) a vile smelling food that some pets turned their noses up at, we had folks mix it with C/D (science diet cystitis formula) if they refused the S/D. Pediactr...

Re: I've lost Mini, but thank you for the help
I'm with Christine on this...for all her reasons. I can understand your fears of losing another or financial / emotional concerns if the new baby has troubles. We all go through that, it's life, no guarntees but if we do not risk opening our homes & hearts to pets they never get to have a happy ...

Re: Bone cancer diagnosis and chemo needed, but what kind?
Hi again, I just reread your intial post...I missed in my 1st read that in the cheaper 'trial' they all get the chemo but only some get the anti-diarrhea meds. You should find out what that chemo regime is & compare it to the others offered. Maybe it as good as the more expensive combo chemo off...
