There are LOTS of blind dog-specific sites and lists

out there; you might want to check the link page. As for the rest, I'd take him out after each meal, and whenever he gets "the look." I'd also take poop/pee, or an article with it on it (even towels or whatever you use to clean it up), out to where you want him to go. They typically get th...

Well, gangrene is tough, even in humans. If she's

bleeding and has that, it's really no way to live for either of you. You know, there are some things we can't fix; all we can do is give them the best shot we can, and it sounds like you've done that.

Even when you know it's the right thing, it's still hard. :(

Maybe try a different brand and style?

Kid John even made one at home. Peeing on it certainly isn't conducive to healthy skin.

They usually do fine; right below

is the first bad adjustment i've heard of. Why are you amputating the stump? Is is causing problems? I have both a totally amputated tripod and a big boy with a flipper-type birth defect. Left's stumps doesn't hurt anything, so I'm leaving it alone. I do know, however, that sometimes stumps get brok...

So you know how to build wheels?

That wasn't clear, and I haven't found the page with most of our homemade ideas on it. Until I do, you can go to the wheelchair page and look at commercial ones.

Another tripod!! I agree it sounds like a fanbelt injury.

Truly amazing blood loss and/or infection didn't do her in VERY quickly. Does she have good mobility with the healed fracture? Guess you don't really know yet, huh?

Getting any of this precip? We may get 24 inches, but it's sleeting now.
